This is a casual/ as-needed position at Grayslake Outpatient Center. The role provides coverage as needed, including Sunday on-call rotation and holiday coverage (one in spring/summer and one in fall/winter).

Description

The CT Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Operates computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Views images on video display to ensure quality; produces radiographs.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent.
  • Thorough working knowledge of practices in a specialized field.
  • ARRT, IEMA certification.

Preferred:

  • ARRT registry in CT or MRI.
