Position Overview

This role involves performing CT scans using various imaging techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include operating CT technology, ensuring safety and accuracy, and collaborating with healthcare teams. The position requires a senior level of expertise, extensive experience, and the ability to lead and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans independently following established protocols and standards.
• Verify patient identity and procedure details.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and ensure their safety.
• Administer IV contrast and ensure proper imaging protocols.
• Maintain equipment and participate in ongoing training.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality patient care.
• Train and educate students and technologists.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification
• ARRT or NMTCB CT Certification
• State license eligibility
• Four years of CT experience
• Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred:

• X-Ray experience

Physical and Skills Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, manual dexterity
• Good hearing and visual acuity
• Knowledge of radiologic procedures, radiation safety, and excellent communication skills
