Job summary

Cone Health in Burlington, NC seeks a Computed Tomography Technologist II to deliver high-quality CT imaging and patient care. You will operate CT scanners, educate patients, and follow protocols to optimize safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes accurate CHL/PACS documentation and adherence to ALARA and Just Culture principles, with a weekend option for premium pay. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
• Graduate of Radiology, Imaging or related program.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• ARRT: RT(R)(CT) or NMTCB: CNMT or NMTCB(CT) accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners to create cross-sectional images.
• Performs routine and special CT exams adhering to protocols to minimize radiation.
• Completes exams and documentation in CHL and PACS, ensuring accurate charges.
• Educates and prepares patients to enhance understanding and cooperation.
• Adheres to ALARA and Just Culture to improve patient outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
