Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging. You will prepare patients, perform advanced CT exams, and support radiologists with high-quality imaging and data entry. The role requires ARRT CT certification, a Florida radiologic license, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Registered ARRT (CT) and Florida General Radiologic Technologist license.
• Graduate of AMA Accredited Educational Radiologic Technology Program.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Two years of clinical CT experience including advanced CT Angio, Virtual Colonography, TAVR, Enterography & Rectal Contrast exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examination and assists radiologist/physician in procedures.
• Reviews patient records to verify orders prior to examinations.
• Cross trains in other departments to enhance skills.
• Inspects films for quality and patient data prior to interpretation by Radiologist.
• Assists training of new technologists and tech assistants.
• Operates and maintains CT equipment following safety guidelines.
• Completes exam data entry and paperwork daily.
• Attends monthly department meetings.
• Proficient in 3D post-processing and CT placement procedures.
• Proficient in Phantom QC and CT unit operation.
