Responsibilities

• Review outpatient orders for accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate and prepare patients for CT procedures with clear communication.
• Obtain and document accurate patient medical history for radiologist review.
• Operate CT equipment, set parameters per radiologist protocol.
• Position patients and ensure shielding and immobilization as required.
• Perform digital radiography and related procedures as needed at locations.
• Administer contrast dye and manage IV access per protocol.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist with training staff or students.
