Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic's St. Peter's Hospital seeks a CT Technologist II for a part-time per diem schedule. Under the Chief of Medical Imaging, you will perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental standards and maintain ALARA safety practices.

Requirements include an AAS in Radiologic Technology, 2+ years of CT experience, NYS license, ARRT registration, and Siemens injector experience preferred. Per diem rate is $44.00/hour, with pay based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required; injection certification on Siemens equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures under the Chief of Medical Imaging in accordance with department standards.
• Obtains and records a complete clinical history for the examination.
• Evaluates requests for appropriateness and refers concerns to radiologist or coordinator.
• Instructs patients about the exam and communicates post-procedure information.
• Maintains ALARA principles and participates in the dosimetry program.
• Completes all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS.
• Uses positioning devices and equipment to provide safe, accurate exams.
• Assists in training new staff.
