Wesley Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist II to perform imaging studies and assist physicians in diagnosis. You will position patients, perform exams, document studies, and manage PACS functions in Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable settings.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, applying universal protocols, and mentoring staff during rotations. The role requires ARRT certification, advanced CT registry, Kansas licensure within 90 days, and 1 year imaging dept experience.

Qualificações

• Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current advanced CT registry.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts within 90 days of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification through the AHA or Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of experience in an Imaging Department.

Responsabilidades

• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
• Performs procedures and assesses patients throughout and responds to patients' needs as appropriate.
• Completes documentation for each study performed.
• Performs all computer and PACS functions.
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic technique to protect patients and staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Universal protocols.
• Uses professional judgment and critical thinking during procedures.
• Participates in orientation and training of new staff and instructors during clinical rotations.
• Operates radiation-producing equipment and applies radiation-protection techniques for radiographs in fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable exams.
• Operates equipment and performs advanced competencies in at least 2 environments (e.g., mammography, dexa, fluoroscopy, pediatric fluoroscopy, OR c-arm, or OR advanced procedures).
• Performs computed radiography functions throughout the medical center.
