CT Technologist II – Wesley Healthcare

Job Summary & Qualifications

• Adapt technique to patient age and cultural/spiritual needs.
• Prepare patients for exams and perform procedures.
• Document each study, perform PACS functions, and uphold safety regulations.
• Demonstrate Universal protocol knowledge and critical thinking.
• Train and orient new staff and students.
• Operate radiation equipment in fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable exams.
• Perform advanced competencies in at least two of the following: mammography, dexa, fluoroscopy, pediatric fluoroscopy, OR c‑arm procedures, hybrid‑OR, mobile CT, robotic spine and orthopedics.
• Execute computed radiography functions across the medical center.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Registration, Licensure or Certification

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry.
• Current advanced CT registry.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts within 90 days of hire.
• BLS verification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross – Healthcare Provider CPR.
