Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist II. This full-time, rotating shift role requires on-call rotations, with a 1 week of call every 5 weeks. You will perform CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician direction and provide patient education.

Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, documentation, and maintenance of supplies. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT or CNMT certification required; advanced CT registry within 2 years of hire.
• On-call rotations required; 1 week of call every 5 weeks.

Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
