Job description

Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia

This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift and requires on-call rotations with 1 week of call every 5 weeks.

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday from 7:30 am - 8 pm

Sign-on bonus up to 20K is available for qualified candidates

As a CAT Scan Technologist II, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Provides quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Qualifications:

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
• ARRT or CNMT is required. , Basic Life Support,

Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
