Job summary

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist II to perform quality CT imaging under physician supervision in Halifax, Virginia. You will operate CT equipment per protocol, educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and maintain equipment and inventory while adhering to radiation safety standards.

A 30K bonus is available for qualified candidates. The role is full-time with night shifts and comprehensive benefits, including tuition reimbursement and retirement

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT or CNMT required, BLS.
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.

• Provide patient and family education; complete department documentation; maintain equipment and supplies.

Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia

This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits.

Role Description

As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; Provides patient and family education; Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Qualifications

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
