Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist II for the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. This full-time night-shift role runs Monday to Thursday, 9 PM to 6:30 AM, with a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 for qualified candidates.

As a CAT Scan Technologist II, you will perform CT imaging and CT-guided interventions under physician guidance, educate patients and families, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CNMT certification is required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician supervision.
• Provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely and document procedures.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness; manage supplies and inventory.

Overview

Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia

This is a Full-Time Night shift opportunity with great benefits.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 pm to 6:30 am.

A sign-on bonus up to 30K is available for qualified candidates.

As a CAT Scan Technologist II, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Provides quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Qualifications

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology

ARRT or CNMT is required. , Basic Life Support,

Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
