Job Title: CT Technologist II
Job Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday night, 6:00pm - 6:00am
Job Summary:
Under general to limited supervision, this intermediate-level position accepts clinical and non-clinical duties to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients, aiding in diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of conditions and diseases.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain competencies required for a Level I position.
- Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care using intermediate-level professional skills in various care settings including inpatient, outpatient, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
- Prepare patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with physician-ordered procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Use specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures following established guidelines.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness, documentation, and quality standards.
- Transfer images/data to archival systems, enter findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform quality control, cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance of equipment as per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Mentor less experienced team members and provide in-service training.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Education:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in a primary cardiovascular specialty.
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in radiologic technology.
Preferred Education:
- Associate’s degree or higher.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current CT credentials as required by the department.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, terminology, patient positioning, and ethics.
- Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and report reliably.
- Sensitivity to patient needs, accuracy in record-keeping, and sound judgment.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under stress, and understand operational policies.
- Professional communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
- High initiative, effort, and commitment to efficiency.

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and relevant technologies.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- One year of full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technologist in the required specialty.
