AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist CT to perform high-quality CT examinations and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and 1+ year of related experience.

• 1+ year of CT radiology experience is required.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Florida Radiology Technologist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high‑quality CT examinations as ordered, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Review patient history and consent to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Administers IV contrast following safety guidelines and monitors for reactions.
• Position patients correctly with immobilization devices as needed.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Document properly in EMR and PACS systems in a timely manner.
• Educates patients about the exam and ensures efficient workflow.
• Operates scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting for all ages.
• Adheres to infection control standards and uses PPE.
• Follows time‑out procedures and patient identification protocols.

Job Description:

Shift: Monday-Thursday 9am-7:30pm

Sign On Bonus: $10,000 for eligible applicants

Relocation Bonus: $5,000 for eligible applicants

• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.

• Reviews patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications. Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.

• Positions patients accurately and comfortably, using immobilization devices when necessary, while ensuring radiation safety and ALARA principles are maintained.

• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.

• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.

• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.

• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time‑out procedures prior to starting exams.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Field of Study:

Work Experience:

• 1+ year of related work experience [Required].

Licenses and Certifications:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography RT(CT)(ARRT) [Required]

• Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required]
