Job summary

Endeavor Health in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a CT Technologist II for a part-time role (20 hours weekly). The position requires CT experience, IEMA license, ARRT certifications, CPR, and a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree preferred.

The pay ranges from $35.35 to $54.79 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and shift/on-call incentives. Hours are 8am–8pm, with weekends/holidays rotating; benefits include tuition reimbursement, health and retirement options, and paid time

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Prior CT experience preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT Radiology certification and ARRT CT certification with timely registration.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner to obtain images for diagnosis per Radiologist directions.
• Positions patients and administers contrast as needed.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety and communicates clearly about procedure.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000

• Location: 130 N Weber Road, Bolingbrook, IL
• Part-Time, 20 hours weekly
• Hours: 8am to 8pm, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• Preferred: Prior CT experience
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• ARRT (CT), (Computerized Tomography). Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

What you will do:

Operates computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, in accordance to Radiologist's directions and established procedures.Positions patients for procedure, administers injections of contrast media, operates scanners to visualize pathologies, manipulates images to find best image possible and reproduces screen images on film.Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
