Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a CT Technologist I (Cross-Training Opportunity) at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role runs 40 hours weekly: 3pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and on-call.

You will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and assist radiologists. The position welcomes Radiology graduates and Radiologic Technologists for cross-training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification and IEMA license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and prepare patients under radiologist supervision.
• Cross-train in CT imaging and support Radiology team.
• Collaborate with Radiology staff to ensure high-quality scans.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
• Full Time, 40 hours weekly
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm, rotating weekends & holidays, on-call schedule

What you will do:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the Manager and under the direction of a Radiologist, receives and prepares patients and operates computerized, non-invasive scanning equipment to provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans for radiologists and physicians to diagnose patients’ injuries and/or study body systems. This is a cross-training opportunity in CT, open to training Radiology Graduates and Radiologic Technologists.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology, preferred
• ARRT (R) certification
• Current IEMA license
• Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
