Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center seeks a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for examinations and perform radiologic procedures with accuracy and care. You will assist radiologists, verify orders, and maintain film quality while following safety guidelines and department protocols.

This role requires ARRT CT certification, a Florida radiographer license, and BLS/CPR. Training will cover EPIC/SYNAPSE systems; position offers full-time, part-time, and per diem options in a busy radiology

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT CT certification and a Florida General Radiographer license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of AMA Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examination and positions for radiologic procedures.
• Assists radiologist/physician during procedures and patient care.
• Reviews orders and ensures proper patient identification on all films.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to safety standards and standard precautions.
• Trains new technologists and technical staff as needed.
• Completes exam data entry and related paperwork daily.
