Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a CT Technologist I at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia to perform CT imaging according to established protocol and support diagnostic care. The role requires understanding cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with emphasis on radiation safety.

BLS certification is required. This part-time position includes on-call coverage every 5th week and is affiliated with Temple Health’s Chestnut Hill Hospital network in northwest Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AMA approved radiology program completion required.
• General/Relevant experience preferred.

The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. They must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. One must maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety. Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy. The use of critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment is to be demonstrated in the quality of care delivered.
