Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT exams under supervision, operating a range of CT equipment in accordance with established practices. The role requires knowledge of ionizing radiation and supporting Radiography students and staff.

The position may involve varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties on a rotational basis, reflecting hospital coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform exams according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists.
• Utilize ionizing radiation in daily CT operations.
• Provide support to Radiography students, new technologists and other hospital personnel as needed.
• May work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

Education
