Job summary

The Diagnostic Imaging/CT Radiology Technologist role at University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in Burlington, VT requires CT and diagnostic imaging proficiency. You will operate CT and x-ray equipment, perform fluoroscopic procedures, and work under Radiologist supervision in a unionized, part-time setting with rotating shifts.

A minimum of 3 years in Radiology/CT is preferred; ARRT certification and a CT state license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• In good standing with the ARRT; holds a valid CT state license.
• Advanced CT certification by ARRT required within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations within CT and Diagnostic Imaging modalities.
• Operate x-ray and CT equipment to perform routine imaging and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Work under the direction of Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification in good standing

CT state license

Advanced CT certification by ARRT within 1 year

CPR certification
