Job summary

Geisinger is looking for a CT Technologist I to join our team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. This role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. The successful candidate will perform CT procedures to acquire images used in patient diagnostics, operate advanced imaging technology, and ensure patient safety during scans.

A graduate from a Specialty Training Program is required, alongside comprehensive knowledge of ct systems. We provide full benefits starting on day one and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (required).
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple CT system platforms at various locations.
• Strong understanding of dose-monitoring and Image Gently guidelines.
• Excellent technical knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and advanced CT physics.
• Ability to master new technology rapidly and work under general supervision of a radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Plan and perform CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology.
• Operate CT scanners and power injectors to acquire high-quality images.
• Maintain protocols based on Image Gently guidelines.
• Ensure patient preparation, positioning, and protective shielding.

Skills
