Job summary

UVM Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment and perform examinations under Radiologist supervision in the Burlington, Vermont area.

The role includes supporting Radiography students and new staff, and may require work across varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as part of a rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of CT equipment to perform CT exams under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists.
• Provide support to Radiography students, new technologists and other hospital personnel as needed.
• May be required to work a variety of shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist I demonstrates knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the CT department. They operate a variety of CT equipment to perform CT exams according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists, utilizing ionizing radiation. The CT technologist I is expected to provide support to Radiography students, new technologists and other hospital personnel as needed. May be required to work a variety of shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Experience

Less than one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist.
