Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
• NYS licensure and ARRT certification with appropriate CE credits required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams by following orders and staying compliant with department policies.
• Orientation to department procedures and workflows; may require supervision or guidance from a senior technologist.
• Produces high quality CT images and documents results for interpretation.
• Maintains safety practices and ALARA principles during procedures.
• May train new staff or lead day-to-day activities.
