Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD is seeking experienced CT Technologists to join a fast-paced, patient-focused imaging team within the Johns Hopkins Health System. Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent).
• Current ARRT certification and registration.
• Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience.

Responsabilidades

• Selects and performs CT protocol based on patient presentation according to guidelines.
• Adjusts technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient age and condition.
• Routinely positions patients on CT table and minimizes artifacts.
• Completes full exam work-up including paperwork, post-processing, and archiving.
• Verifies patient identifiers and procedure information for accuracy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy.
• Operates CT scanners and accessory equipment with solid technical understanding.
• Maintains and cleans CT equipment; keeps work area clean and orderly.

Formação académica

High school diploma or GED

AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent)

Current ARRT certification and registration

Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license

Current AHA BLS certification

Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience

Available Schedules

Option 1

• Saturday & Sunday
• 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Option 2

• Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 1:30 AM
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Compensation

$61 - $64 per hour, based on experience

• Consistently selects and performs appropriate CT protocol based on patient’s clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
• Selects reviews and adjusts appropriate technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient’s age and physical condition.
• Routinely positions patients properly on CT table. Removes all preventable artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
• Consistently completes the full exam- all appropriate paperwork, post-processing and archiving.
• Consistently verifies accurate and complete patient identifiers, procedure and other pertinent information.
• Consistently demonstrates appropriate knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy.
• Demonstrates a good technical knowledge to fully understand and operate the CT scanners and accessory equipment.
• Maintains and cleans all CT equipment to established guidelines.
• Actively keeps work area clean and orderly.
• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent)
• Current ARRT certification and registration required
• Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
