Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks a CT Technologist to join the Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging team. Full-time position with varied, 12-hour shifts; work with modern imaging technology to support a broad range of diagnostic needs.

You will collaborate with radiologists, ensure high-quality images, and manage image transfer to PACS. The role requires ARRT-CT certification, state license, and BCLS, with opportunities in a not-for-profit teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images.
• The CT Technologist provides assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and transmits images to PACS.
