Job summary

UPMC is seeking a CT Technologist to support the CT Department at UPMC Community General. This role is part of a career ladder with On-the-Job Training and requires performing imaging procedures with independent judgment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3pm–11pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Earn a $20,000 sign-on bonus and access a loan repayment program up to $9,000 for eligible graduates. Placement based on education, certifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures using established protocols and contrast administration.
• Uses RIS/ISITE systems to document and archive exams and ensure proper charging.
• Identifies patient using two identifiers and follows universal protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed cooperation.
• Interacts with team to expedite patient care and maintain quality imaging.
