Job summary

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic cross‑sectional images. The role includes fluoroscopy and general radiography, with patient care from adolescence to geriatric.

You will use PACS/teleradiology and maintain accurate records in a HIPAA‑compliant environment. Requirements include an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT-CT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required or preferred.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR.
• Venipuncture preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains patient records, files and billing information while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manages supply inventory.

There is something for everyone in this scenic community.Job Summary:Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Essential Functions:Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
