Qualifications

• Certification/degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, CT, or Radiation Therapy required.

Location: Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA.

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000 with a 2-year commitment (External candidates only).

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week/1.0 FTE). Night shift. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation.

Position Summary: The CT Technologist provides radiographic care for diagnostic and/or treatment purposes of anatomical and physiological disorders.

Essential Functions

• Performs routine diagnostic radiographic CT procedures, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique in accordance with LG protocols.
• Receives and reviews requests, checks for special instructions, and consults with Radiologists as needed.
• Greets patients, confirms identity, explains procedures, and performs procedures as directed.
• Operates hospital computer systems, documents patient information, and completes required records and billing procedures.
• Utilizes all computer-related equipment appropriately.

Secondary Functions

• Performs safety inspections and equipment warm-up procedures, records quality control activities, and reports equipment issues.
• Maintains inventory supplies and participates in clinical education and on-call responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy School.
• Certification/degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, CT, or Radiation Therapy.
• CT Certification within 18 months of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in patient care and high-quality imaging procedures.
