Adventist Health Lodi Memorial in Lodi, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform cross-sectional imaging for radiologist interpretation. The role includes general radiography and fluoroscopy as part of a broad imaging practice.

The position requires ARRT registration with CA licensure, BLS, and CT certification when applicable; an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role in Diagnostic Services.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent preferred.
• ARRT-RT registration required; CA licensure required.
• CT advanced certification preferred in CA; BLS required.
• Radiologic tech license in state of practice CA.

Responsabilités

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records and adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.

Job Description

Job Summary

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR

Essential Functions

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
