Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT and adjunct imaging procedures in a patient-centered radiology department. You will produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation.

The role requires ARRT CT certification and CA licensure, with experience in PACS/teleradiology workflows, and a focus on accuracy, image quality, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT CT certification required or eligible in state of practice.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA required if fluoroscopy is used, BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance; manage equipment maintenance and supply inventory.

Job Summary

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients‘ bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Essential Functions

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
