Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley in Healdsburg, CA is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, delivering diagnostic-quality images for radiologist review.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification; CA fluoroscopy license and BLS are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and eligible relocation incentives.

Responsibilities

• Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Performs imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to radiologists.
• Maintains accurate patient records and billing information while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance and manages supply inventory.

Essential Functions

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
