Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a full-time mid-shift role in New York, NY. You will operate CT equipment under radiologist direction, utilizing RIS/PACS and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging to support a world-class clinical team.

The position requires NY Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT CT certification, and the ability to obtain CT certification within 6 months if not already certified; NYS license to inject contrast is also required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT CT certification.
• If CT certification not held, complete CT case requirements and obtain CT certification within 6 months.
• Must have NYS license to inject contrast.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment under radiologist direction and supervisor guidance.
• Apply knowledge of RIS, PACS, and digital data transfer processes to support accurate imaging.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality diagnostics in a world-class clinical team.

This position will work Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm, with rotating weekends and assigned holidays.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Join us. Preferred Criteria

• Prior CT experience in a hospital setting

Required Criteria

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License from Department of Health
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) / Computed Tomography Certifications
• If CT certification is not held, employees must have completed the case requirements for CT certification and obtain CT certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• New York State license to inject contrast
