Progeny HR Solutions LLC in Florida is seeking a full-time Computed Tomography Technologist to join a busy radiology team and provide high-quality CT imaging and patient care. You will work within a fast-paced CT department, collaborating with physicians and imaging staff to ensure accurate exams and safety.

The ideal candidate has CT experience, childhood-age patient care awareness, and a commitment to infection control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
• One year of experience in performing CT preferred.
• Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire.
• WILL CONSIDER A SEASONED X-RAY TECH TO TRAIN TO CT TECH- MIN SALARY.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Determine most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed.
• Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures.
• Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
• Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department.
• Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case.
