Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions seeks a Computed Tomography Technologist in Florida. The role involves providing patient-centered CT imaging, determining optimal positioning, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure safe, accurate procedures.

Responsibilities include aseptic technique, adherence to department protocols, infection control, and prompt documentation after each case. Florida licensing or ARRT CT registry is required or eligible with 6-month acquisition window.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
• One year of CT experience preferred.
• Florida DOH General Radiographer license or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire.
• ARRT CT Registry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Determine most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed.
• Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures.
• Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
• Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department.
• Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case.
