Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of CT procedures with attention to patient care.
• Assess patient history, review orders, and determine scan protocols.
• Identify contraindications for IV and oral contrast.
• Maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment and resolve basic issues.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide patient care.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and lifting as needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow safety guidelines.

10,000 Sign on bonus offered for full-time CT Technologist - Full-time, 40 hours Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of CT procedures using sound judgment, technical expertise, and attention to patient care.
• Assess patient history, review physician orders, and determine the appropriate scan protocols.
• Recognize contraindications for IV and oral contrast preparations.
• Maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment to resolve basic technical and computer-related issues.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and lifting as needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comply with all departmental policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology program accredited by the AMA or JRCERT.
• Certification: Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
• CT Advanced Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required.

Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• At least one year of experience in CT diagnostic imaging preferred.
• Experience with Toshiba 64-slice or higher CT systems is a plus.
