Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-sectional images of patients using CT scanners for diagnostic support. The role involves ensuring high-quality imaging and smooth department operations in a clinical setting.

You will assess and plan patient care, transfer images via PACS, and support radiologist interpretation while upholding accreditation standards and coordinating daily workloads.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)) is required.
• State licensure in radiologic technology in CA is required.
• Venipuncture certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, 3+ years CT experience, advanced CT certification, fluoroscopy and venipuncture certifications, and knowledge of accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment efficiently, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all age groups.
• Produce reformatted images for radiologist interpretation and transfer images via PACS and teleradiology systems.
• Lead departmental compliance with accreditation standards (JCAHO, ACR, state licensures).
• Manage daily patient workload and staffing, covering absences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
