Job summary

Medical City Dallas in Garland, TX is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN assignments. The role focuses on operating CT protocols, preparing patients, and collaborating with radiologists on contrast use.

You will perform exam prep, ensure radiation safety, assist during procedures, and handle post-processing of data to support high-quality patient care. A current BCLS, RT license (ARRT) and associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT exam protocols and patient prep.
• Basic life support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods and shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Responsible for post processing of data.
• Assist the physician during invasive procedures as needed.
• Assist during codes.

What You Will Do In This Role

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Associate Degree.
