Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosis according to protocols established by radiologists.
• Prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedures, report abnormalities, monitor protocols, and recommend updates.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer date (AHA or ARC accepted).

One or more of the following required

• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from NMTCB with CT certification and CNMT certification, or ARRT(CT) certification, or Radiography with CT or Radiation Therapy specialty.

Education

• High School diploma with 2 years of experience, or Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.
