Job summary

Banner Health in Arizona is seeking a CT technologist to independently perform advanced computed tomography procedures with cutting-edge equipment. The role requires ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification, state licensure for AZ/WY/NV (Colorado exception), and 2 years of clinical CT experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM) or NMTCB(CNMT) certification required.
• State licensure for AZ, WY, NV; CT license may be required (Colorado exception).
• Advanced CT certification within 18 months of hire (ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT).
• BLS certification is required.
• Two years of clinical CT experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective communication, human relations, data analysis and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program


• National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT))


• State Licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire (not required in Colorado)


• Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - NMTCB (CT)


• Certification for BLS is required


• This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience
