Job summary

Centerpoint Health-Winchester, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Cat Scan (CT) Technician to perform CT imaging, educate patients, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced clinical setting in Winchester, KY. This PRN/as-needed role supports flexible scheduling within our integrated network.

You will review orders, prepare contrast when required, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives to consistently deliver high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree required.
• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice; ARRT in Radiology and Computed Tomography; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides CT imaging in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients on procedures, equipment and exams.
• Prepares and administers contrast media within scope of practice when ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
