Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Lake Charles, LA seeks a CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support colleagues, and help maintain patient flow. Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and campuses may be required.

You will troubleshoot basic equipment, participate in QA, and ensure image quality and patient safety in line with department policies and CHRISTUS Health values. State licensure and BLS are required, with 1 year of CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• CT experience in a hospital/clinical setting preferred (1 year).
• Current BLS certification required.
• State licensure (Louisiana) required: LRT (R), (N), or (F) by LSRTBE.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient throughput and collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional behavior; protects patient information.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports malfunctions to biomedical staff; follows PACS procedures.
