Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a range of routine and advanced imaging procedures, supporting colleagues and ensuring smooth patient flow. The role includes troubleshooting, QA participation, and staying current with imaging safety and technology within licensure scope.

The position offers multiple shifts and may require work at different CHRISTUS campuses. A Texas state license and CT certification are required, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

• Protects patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA as applicable.
• Adapts patient assessment and care to individual needs.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies.
• Performs examinations to aid patient throughput within licensure and competency scope.
• Works flexible shifts and at other campuses as needed.
• Ensures completed exams are scanned/stored in PACS; follows downtime procedures as PACS Superuser.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel and follows up.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
