Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham is seeking a qualified CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures according to radiologists' protocols. Prepare and position patients, select parameters, and ensure safety and accuracy.

You will administer contrast media when appropriate, monitor patients during scans, and collaborate with radiology staff to support timely, high-quality imaging in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• ARRT Radiography CT credentialing or NMTCB CT credentialing required before hire.
• ARRT(CT) radiologic technologist or NMTCB CT certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures for diagnosis according to radiologists' protocols.
• Prepare and position patients and select accurate parameters.
• Administer contrast media within scope of practice and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and monitor safety guidelines.
