Job summary

Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Flexi/PRN CT Technologist to join our Advanced Imaging Center. You will provide CT imaging to patients under supervision, follow protocol, and assist with education and safety.

The role requires a Radiologic Technology training, ARRT or CNMT, BLS, and CT registry within 2 years. You will work at BelleHarbour and St. Luke’s locations with rotating shifts; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT or CNMT certification required; CT registry within 2 years of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging per protocol under physician supervision.
• Provide patient and family education related to CT exams.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain documentation for each exam.
• Administer CT contrast per protocol and ensure radiation safety guidelines.

The center is home to a 3T MRI, CT, PET CT, full digital mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry, PVL (vascular imaging services), non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, and digital X-ray.
