Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT scan examinations, gather data, and ensure accurate patient records. You will assist with scheduling, billing, and imaging quality control while maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment with contrast under radiologist guidance, traveling between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled, and supporting departmental duties to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by ARRT/NMTCB in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs CT scan examinations according to patient age and department standards.
• Gathers clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Completes records, paperwork and billing promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Performs QC on images and sends exams to PACS for review.
• Maintains inventory and assists with supply purchases.
• Performs additional duties including urgent exam requests and scheduling.
• Under supervision, performs CT exams using contrast media per policy.
• Establishes IV access for contrast injection as required.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton to provide support.
• Float requirements apply to Nashoba Valley staff.
