Job summary

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited radiology program, with ARRT registration and state licensure (LSRT). A CT registration within one year and a current BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• Minimum of one year experience in a CT department with multi-slice technology.
• ARRT registered in Radiology and state license by LSRT.
• CT registration required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification through ILCOR courses with manikin check-off.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and position patients according to anatomy and physiology.
• Process CT studies and track each study; manage PACS acquisition.
• Apply radiation protection devices and select technical factors for optimum image quality.
• Perform related duties aligned with providing quality CT services.
