Job summary

INDSURGIMG in Key West, FL is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, position patients, and support radiologists with high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will ensure patient safety, manage contrast administration, and participate in interventional CT procedures as needed.

The role requires an accredited radiologic sciences program and state licensure with CT certification or eligibility within six months, along with strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Accredited radiologic sciences program required.
• CT Technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Licensure in state and CT certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures with proper immobilization and safety.
• Verifies patient identity, physician orders, and contraindications for examination.
• Administers contrast media per orders and monitors for adverse reactions per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to alleviate fear and anxiety; provides post-exam instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Reviews images for technical accuracy and communicates findings to radiology staff.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs routine quality control checks.
