Job summary

Harris Health System is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to perform CT imaging for diagnostic purposes in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program, and certification as a CT technologist with ARRT and TMB, plus BLS. Weekend, flexible, and on-call work is expected, with strong communication and PC skills essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be a graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Cert Medical Radiologic Tech by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) and ARRT CT certification; BLS from AHA-approved program.
• Five (5) years as a staff CT Technologist.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form; PC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and operate a CT scanner for diagnostic evaluation.
• Mentor and take charge in the absence of the supervisor.
• Maintain familiarity with PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment.
