Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Falls Church, Virginia, is looking for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join their team. This full-time role operates Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 6:30 am, and includes sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in radiography, be ARRT certified, and have experience in a healthcare environment. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
• Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer.
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
• Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage.
• Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
• Correctly identifies patients and their files by ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
• Tracks patients according to department procedures, identifying errors and taking action for corrections.
• Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives.
