Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist for Huntley Imaging to join our imaging team on a full-time evening shift. The role includes handling CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality image production in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Radiology Technologist Program and hold BLS certification, with preferred ARRT CT credentials and 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening for contraindications and patient monitoring (as applicable).
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
